Introduction

Welcome to Digital Sharing Beyond Word Processing for elementary teachers. This course is a five-day, 6-hours-per-day course. You will learn how to create digital sharing presentations as professional development so that you can incorporate digital sharing in your elementary classroom.

My name is Renee Hudson and I will be your instructor for this course. I earned my undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland in 1989 in Early Childhood Education. I started working for Montgomery County Public Schools in 1990 and earned a master's equivalency through the school system. I also earned a master's degree in Reading from Arizona State University in 1996. I am currently earning another master's degree from UMUC in Instructional Technology. I will be completing my 25th year of teaching for Montgomery County Public Schools in 2015 and I incorporate technology every day in my first grade classroom.

I look forward to working with you in this course. Please do no hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns at reneehdsn@aol.com.
